• Product costs & discounts
• Shop settings (name, currency, etc.)
• Fees and payout data

From Ad Platforms (Meta / Google):

• Campaign spend
• Ad performance metrics
• Account identifiers

We only access read-only data required to generate analytics.

1.3 Usage Data

We may collect technical and usage information to improve the platform and maintain security:

• Device type
• Browser type
• IP address (for security only)
• Activity logs (non-sensitive)

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to operate and improve the Clear Profit platform.

• Calculate revenue, expenses, and profit
• Sync data with Shopify and ad platforms
• Display dashboards, reports, and insights
• Provide customer support
• Ensure platform performance and security

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for external purposes.

2.1 Customer Data Use

Customer data is never used for marketing or advertising.

We retain your data while your account is active. Upon account deletion or store disconnection:

• All synced integration data is permanently deleted within 30 days
• Backups are purged according to provider retention cycles (30–90 days)
• No analytics data is kept after deletion

10. Google API Services Usage

ClearProfit's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically, ClearProfit:

• Only uses Google Ads data to provide and improve the profit analytics features visible to you within the ClearProfit platform.
• Does not transfer Google Ads data to third parties unless necessary to provide or improve the service, comply with applicable laws, or as part of a merger or acquisition with adequate data protection.
• Does not use Google Ads data for serving advertisements.
• Does not allow humans to read Google Ads data unless we have your affirmative consent, it is necessary for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or our use is limited to internal operations with aggregated and anonymized data.

11. Subscription Payments

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store or access your payment card details.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Significant changes will be communicated via email or dashboard notifications.
